Jayson Christopher Tatum, born on March 3, 1998, is an American professional basketball player who currently plays for the Boston Celtics of the National Basketball Association (NBA). He was born in St. Louis, Missouri, and attended Duke University for one season before being drafted by the Celtics with the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA draft.

NBA Career

In his rookie season, Tatum quickly established himself as a rising star, averaging 13.9 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.6 assists per game. He was named to the NBA All-Rookie Second Team and helped the Celtics reach the Eastern Conference Finals. In subsequent seasons, Tatum has continued to improve, becoming one of the league's most prolific scorers and all-around players. He has been named to the NBA All-Star Team three times and was selected to the All-NBA Second Team in 2020 and 2021.
